Giving someone a hug can be mutually rewarding. Try to give at least one hug a day to someone.
Is there even a word for when you understand something that isn't physically visible to you I've been thinking about this because I plan on never developing relationships outside of my own home or bloodline. Because I have dreams to follow and too much of that can be overwhelming.
But if I'm to follow my dreams, I must not lose sight of what matters in the end. Obviously family and the few friends I do have, but also strangers I've never even met.
Which is where the beginning part comes in. I can empathize with people I've never even met before or know little to nothing about. So I just make this, for lack of a better term, doll of some sort in my mind, and assign all the attributes to it, and this doll could be a sentient species like humans or dogs, it could be the planet, it could be the universe.
Point is, so long as I can pinpoint that doll with near perfect accuracy, I can never go wrong. I just don't want to be an asshole, that's why this is important.

So I had my eyeballs checked and my prescription has changed so I was able to purchase new prescription sunnies. They are semi-wrap-arounds, and I love them. So comfy and so clear!!
But they make my eye sockets into sweaty puddles of goo, and they steam up on our morning walks.
Do you have advice for sweaty eye socket glasses steaming up problems
Thank you in advance for your help.

How to Read Like Leonardo Da Vinci
There is a lot of advice today on how to read more books and to read them more quickly, yet little advice on how to read them well and more thoroughly. To tell someone that you have only read one great book last year and have learnt it by heart sounds less attractive than to tell someone that you read 100+ books last year. Quantity is everything today.

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
With the looming threats of war and even the horrific global threat (Affects everyone) of nuclear war, I honestly think there isn't much we can do about the world. I'd rather not go out there and commit moral atrocities. But I think there is a line to draw for satisfaction in life so that in the event there is war, you can die knowing you lived a satisfying one. Likewise, please help other people or animals who aren't in that situation currently.
I also think about what makes us seem weaker than the generations before us, and I think it's down to experience and restraint. Not everyone is going to be able to handle that, but most people can. I can't help that I've got genetic depression and likely genetic autism and ADHD. Which would deem me unfit for say, military training. Plus some people have had more fucked up childhoods and actually come out stronger from it. It's not to say change what's in the present and worry about the past. It's to improve ourselves as people.

While the intent may be genuine , trying to give to someone who is not looking for it rarely goes over well.
In most cases, its better to let people try it their way, then ask for advice later.
1 The person more naturally.
2 The advice you do give is more meaningful and well received.
I know people usually mean well when they say "You shouldn't feel..." such as "You shouldn't feel bad..." or "You shouldn't feel sad..." or "You shouldn't feel embarrassed.", but that's not a good thing to tell someone.
Feelings are feelings, and telling someone that they shouldn't have them is invalidating not only of their current feelings, but all the history of why they have the feelings they do.
It also shows a distinct lack of interest in someone, of why they're having those feelings in the first place.
