How not to live your life
Are you Mad?

Do yourself a favor: look under your toilet and check if the idiot plumber who installed it used a supply hose with a plastic fitting instead of metal, just to save a couple bucks. If so, replace it.
It's only a matter of time before a plastic fitting fatigues and breaks, spraying water everywhere.
If you're lucky (we were, thankfully) it'll happen when you're home and near the bathroom so you won't have water gushing for hours.

You're in a shop, ey A bit of advice - don't squander your gold on weapons. Your current lance has you covered. Considering your paladin armor, Chain Mail could be a worthwhile boost, but watch your gold. If shortage hits, don't say I didn't warn you. If you're unsure, head back to town and consider your options more before splurging. Your journey has only just begun. The choice is yours.

Hey folks - any whizzes out there

Have got a sitution I've never seen. Tried searching it up, but it's stumped me.

Essentially, I have a large with lots of columns. I want to filter by multiple columns.

In the snip, you can see what happens if I click in the 1st column header and click 'Filter'.

It only lets me by that column.

If I click in any of the columns to the right, every column header gives the filter option.

If I have the filter on in the 1st column, I can't filter by anything further to the right (B onwards).

If I click in anything B onwards, I can't filter in A.

It's like there is a block or a wall in between A and B.

i've tried Ungroup, I've tried clearing everything I can think of , but not joy.

Have you seen this before and, if so, how did you clear it I've put a work-around in, but dislike not knowing!

That requires that the attorney understands whats being told to them. If you know that your attorney is drunk, that does not count as making full disclosure of all material facts.

So what do you do if someone accuses your dog of nipping a kid, shouts a bunch, then leaves I should have taken a picture of the indentation to prove it wasnt my dog, but with all the shouting I didnt think of it. The indentation was gone before they left, and my dog cant actually bend down to reach the kid because of joint issues, but Im still worried. Caution to All Mentors and Senior Professionals: Advice is a Double-Edged Sword!

While mentoring the next wave of professionals can be rewarding, it's crucial to navigate some common pitfalls. Here's what NOT to do when offering guidance:

Don't Assume One-Size-Fits-All:
What worked for you wont necessarily work for your mentee. Your solutions are tailored from years of unique experiences they might not be directly applicable.

Times Have Changed:
Your path to success may be outdated. Even a gap of just five years can render some of your experiences irrelevant in todays fast-paced world.

Explain Your Rationale:
Dont just tell them what to do explain why it worked for you. The reasoning behind a choice is often more valuable than the choice itself.

Avoid Projecting Your Present onto Their Future:
The way you act today is a culmination of your life's journey. Don't expect your mentees to follow in your exact footsteps.

Respect Their Path:
If youve transitioned from a tech role to a managerial role, remember that your mentee may not have the same ambitions. Dont prematurely steer them away from their current focus.

Don't Force Your New Interests:
You might be excited about the latest trends or tech, but remember, they may not need or appreciate them at this stage.

Limit Sharing Skepticism and Regrets:
While its tempting to caution mentees against the old ways, sometimes it's best for them to learn from their own mistakes.

Bottom Line:
Mentoring isn't just about giving adviceit's about really understanding where someone else is coming from. Remember, what's obvious to you might be brand new to them. So be careful, be kind, and try to really help them grow in their own unique way.

The Controversial Charm of Comic Sans: A Versatile Font for Business Papers
#lifehack
Comic Sans, a font that has garnered both adoration and disdain, has become a subject of debate among typography enthusiasts and professionals. While some people dislike its informal and playful appearance, it is important to recognize that Comic Sans can serve a purpose in various business contexts. This article aims to shed light on the positive aspects of Comic Sans as a font choice for corporate documents, debt letters from banks, and even resumes. Additionally, we will explore a couple of similar fonts and present a testimonial highlighting why Comic Sans can be an excellent choice for business papers.
# Comic Sans: A Cheerful Addition to Corporate Documents
Comic Sans is often criticized for its informal and childlike appearance, leading many to believe it is unsuitable for professional use. However, when used appropriately, this font can add a touch of cheerfulness to corporate documents. In certain situations where the content calls for a more relaxed tone or when targeting a younger audience, Comic Sans can effectively convey a friendly and approachable message. For instance, internal memos or newsletters within creative industries or companies with a casual work environment may benefit from the use of Comic Sans.
# Comic Sans in Debt Letters: Softening the Tone
Debt letters from banks are typically associated with stress and anxiety. However, incorporating Comic Sans into such correspondence can help alleviate some of the negative emotions associated with financial matters. By using this font sparingly and strategically in headings or subheadings, it can create a subtle contrast that softens the overall tone of the letter. This approach may help recipients feel less overwhelmed by presenting information in a more approachable manner without compromising clarity.
# Comic Sans on Resumes: Standing Out with Personality
Resumes are crucial documents that showcase an individual's skills and qualifications. While it is generally recommended to use more traditional fonts like Arial or Times New Roman, Comic Sans can be an unexpected choice that sets a resume apart from the competition. When used sparingly and in moderation, Comic Sans can inject a sense of personality and creativity into an otherwise standard document. This font may be particularly suitable for individuals in creative fields, such as graphic design or marketing, where showcasing a unique personal brand is essential.
# Similar Fonts to Consider
For those who appreciate the qualities of Comic Sans but seek alternatives, two similar fonts worth exploring are:
- Marker Felt: This font mimics the appearance of handwritten text with its slightly uneven strokes. It exudes a casual and friendly vibe, making it suitable for informal business documents or creative projects.
- Chalkboard: Resembling text written on a chalkboard, this font offers a playful and nostalgic feel. It can be an excellent choice for presentations or materials related to education, children's products, or recreational activities.
# Testimonial: Comic Sans as a Great Font for Business Papers
"I have been using Comic Sans in my business presentations for years, and it has never failed to captivate my audience. The font's playful nature adds an element of surprise and keeps people engaged throughout my presentations. It breaks away from the monotony of traditional fonts and helps me stand out as a speaker. I firmly believe that Comic Sans has played a significant role in my success as a presenter." - John Doe, Marketing Consultant
