Does anyone have experience with Starlink's internet service I recently moved in with my parents, who live in a rural area of Northeastern Georgia state. Starlink is just about the only internet that works.
There are 2 email accounts listed with Starlink. 1 of them is no longer a valid email, but it appears they may somehow be thinking it is.
Starlink has offered free internet service through the end of the year to those affected by Hurricane Helene, but my mom was unaffected & didn't apply for this benefit.
Mom's bank switched from Mastercard to Visa, changing their debit cards. Starlink is set to autopay from this bank, so Mom updated the payment method in September or October. September was the last time a payment went through to Starlink. Since then, she's consistently receiving messages that her payment hasn't gone through. She goes to check Starlink account -- it claims the balance is $0, but nothing has come out of the bank account to pay Starlink.

* 80% reading the official docs
* 10% consulting internal SMEs
* 5% general web surfing / Stack Overflow
* 5% banging my head against the wall

My second opinion is: if you have to hustle someone at pool in order to make them a better person (curious about what bet YOU recently lost), you do the rug pull no later than the 4th game when they can still afford the bet, and then let the win speak for itself.
Teaching someone to be a better person by humiliating them, suggesting that they're lucky not to get beaten up, and then hounding their Dad for the money is highly correlated with not being welcome at Christmas.
My first opinion is: don't. This has never once in the history of anything ever made anyone a better person. Just send them consecutive nightly hauntings, way more evidence-based.
Apparently I have opinions about hustling your family at pool in order to teach them to be better people.
