How do I deal with the fear of the unknown
Fill me life up with knowns. As simple as that. Fuck the unknown (video pending).

But I'm serious, filling your life up with things to do and things to think about is probably the best way to overcome it. Not to be mistaken for anxiety.

It's just useful to have multiple hobbies and interests, and many more around the corner. After I've done everything I want to with music, art, TV/games, I want to learn something like astronomy or biology, and become some form of medical knowledge-person. Learn another language. Life is actually filled with limitless areas to gain knowledge and skill from. Boredom is the biggest danger we should all worry about.

And this is where the danger of capitalism comes in too, as restricting the means of which to obtain knowledge and skill only serves to create destruction.

I don't believe there is such a thing as "Best guitarist." this applies for anything art really.

I'm listening to some 70s music, guess who

And everyone claims "Jimi is the best guitarist that ever lived."
Based on what metric exactly It's clear his level of guitar playing at the time was peak in the mainstream rock scene. But there were likely others around that time who were doing similar if not better.
The same thing stands today really.

Which is why I prefer not to categorize musicians based on how well they perform. But rather how they sound to my ears. There's never a best. But I can be impressed.
That's not the same as someone being a favourite or best at something.

So it is generally unfair that there is a label like this. It's all subjective too.

Plus, the crowns you place can also serve as thorns.
