As I settle into my chair and open my terminal, Im confronted with a challenge thats become all too familiar: deciding which of my many unfinished projects to tackle.
I navigate to my project directory, greeted by a graveyard of half-implemented ideas and stalled works-in-progress. Each one represents a different problem Ive tried to solve, a different technology Ive attempted to master. Theyre all interesting, each with its own purpose and potential. Okay so I plan on changing my name as soon as I'm able to. I go my my middle name instead of my first name so for the court order name change I was thinking to just: remove my first name, make my middle name my first, not have a middle name, and keep my last name the same. so instead of deadname Ceylon last name it would just be Ceylon last name
I figured that would be the easiest way to go and most likely to not be denied by the court or anything.
however I really would like to change my full name, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that or if it will make things more complicated/more likely to be denied

Ugh. Way less sleep than I needed, which has been happening too much lately.
Cat people, I need advice.
We have a dog in a cat suit. Sweet, emotionally needy, he wants attention whenever he's awake. He's gotten recent access to our bedroom, but had and continues to have access to another one.
For household logistical reasons not subject to change, once he asks to be let out of our bedroom, his access is over for the night. Last night, he asked to be readmitted by destroying a fabric and foam draft blocker attached to the door.
When he wakes us up asking for access he can't have, I'm consistent. I go out, herd him away from the door with my feet, and gently shoo him down the stairs. At which point he leaves, and doesn't return. Last night, I only got up once I heard the fabric tearing, which in retrospect, was probably a mistake.
Once the draft blocker is repaired or replaced, how do I keep him from messing with it
