I know people usually mean well when they say "You shouldn't feel..." such as "You shouldn't feel bad..." or "You shouldn't feel sad..." or "You shouldn't feel embarrassed.", but that's not a good thing to tell someone.
Feelings are feelings, and telling someone that they shouldn't have them is invalidating not only of their current feelings, but all the history of why they have the feelings they do.
It also shows a distinct lack of interest in someone, of why they're having those feelings in the first place.

People who think they have all the answers are obviously not going to have the answers. I say this because there is an easy trap to fall into, myself included, where you become self-obsessed and try to answer everything on behalf of everyone. Or even try to understand something you don't understand.
This often leads to fallacious reasoning and tends to make you create very ill thought answers. Not to mention there's a difference between a take and an answer, they're completely different.
Because there's a lot of topics in the world to answer to, you can never answer them all with 100% accuracy. Which is why you need to focus on as few of them as possible until you get a certain answer.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Hey Black friends,
Obviously no one is obligated to help me, but I'd love your help/advice.
With the current antisemitism, there are a lot of Black people saying some really vile stuff. There are also some amazing Black people being great allies, as well as Black Jews who are speaking up.
Sometimes I want to promote/boost some of these Black folks and their positive messaging but I feel stuck because I worry if I promote a Black person who is speaking of allyship and positivity, it could be seen as tokenizing. On the other hand, if I don't promote those messages, then I'm actively discriminating against Black people! And also, those messages of allyship don't have the same reach as if I boosted them! So I feel stuck.
What are some ways to navigate this Are there resources I should read, or advice you can offer me
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
