When you push a baseless assumption home like it's the only thing that matters, it can often end up feeling real. Even when very minor things happen related to it that are not the thing being pushed
This come about upon reflecting on a real life situation that's been on my mind for a while. And very much applies to the internet too here, as this behaviour ironically reflects internet behaviours.
Branding any minority group as a negative thing without good reason let alone demonstrable evidence is a recipe for disaster, always. This have been demonstrated throughout history with misinformation, from witch hunts to the latest pedo hunters.
At a certain point, it becomes obsessive and that's when it is dangerous. You absolutely have no right to speak or act on a topic you don't understand. Simple as that. I know some will disagree with the 'pedo' thing, but let me ask you this, how much of the psychology around it do you understand

Anyone have any outdoor dining recommendations for Salem, MA that can easily seat six people tomorrow Alternatively, anyplace that does takeout and a suggestion for a good park One of the party is in her 70s (but spry!) so picnic-style ground seating isn't a great plan.

OK, I'm sending weekly contributions to Harris/Walz. But say that on my limited budget I have $200 left to donate. Do I give it all to one candidate or $100 to two, or $50 to each of four candidates And who should get the money I would say candidates for House or Senate who currently look like they need just a small push to get them over the finish line. What do you say(Please boost so we get lots of suggestions/opinions.)

Giving someone a hug can be mutually rewarding. Try to give at least one hug a day to someone.
Is there even a word for when you understand something that isn't physically visible to you I've been thinking about this because I plan on never developing relationships outside of my own home or bloodline. Because I have dreams to follow and too much of that can be overwhelming.
But if I'm to follow my dreams, I must not lose sight of what matters in the end. Obviously family and the few friends I do have, but also strangers I've never even met.
Which is where the beginning part comes in. I can empathize with people I've never even met before or know little to nothing about. So I just make this, for lack of a better term, doll of some sort in my mind, and assign all the attributes to it, and this doll could be a sentient species like humans or dogs, it could be the planet, it could be the universe.
Point is, so long as I can pinpoint that doll with near perfect accuracy, I can never go wrong. I just don't want to be an asshole, that's why this is important.

How to Read Like Leonardo Da Vinci
There is a lot of advice today on how to read more books and to read them more quickly, yet little advice on how to read them well and more thoroughly. To tell someone that you have only read one great book last year and have learnt it by heart sounds less attractive than to tell someone that you read 100+ books last year. Quantity is everything today.
