Hey nerds, would anyone have some time to offer about getting into the field I've been seriously thinking about that direction but I have 0 clue how that side specifically runs.

My advice
Live with friends before you live with lovers.
Live alone before you live with lovers.
Find your happiness and make peace with yourself before you seek it from others.
Learn boundaries and communication.
If you date, do so for years before giving up your solo space and time relationships work better with elbow room.
And love is not an escalator you don't need more relationship than feels right.

Life is always moving. If you resist this ever-changing flow, your energy will become stagnant and you will fall out of flow with the universe. The universe has a mysterious intelligent force, a natural rhythmic beat, which governs all of life.
One of the best ways to shift your energy frequency and vibration is to put on some music and dance along with it.
If dancing isn't your thing, then simply do something that you would not usually do to shift the energy.

Good or Bad advice

I struggle in the weekends to have enough energy to do much. I know I work a lot of hours and maybe should sleep a bit more, but I wonder if that is the whole story. Pretty sure Ive heard about how doing sports or exercise will help combat exhaustion. On first thought it sounds like -increasing- my load during the week would be counterproductive, but they say it helps to give you more energy. Is this true or nonsense Or a bit of both

Motivated by a recent conversation with a tutorial client, I shot this quick take about a common worry students sometimes express: Are they taking too much time in reading philosophical works

so, erm, i've been feeding birds in my garden for nearly three years & have never seen a rat until this week. i have nothing against rats & i want them to live healthy & happy lives (preferably away from houses), but i know that there's a problem if they're turning up during the day, boldly eating seeds. i'm worried about encouraging them to proliferate. looking for non-lethal advice & experience. thanks!

I awoke this morning and turned on my TV, which was on ESPN. A feature on Coach Lawson and this speech was already playing, and I watched the rest of it. I then watched the full video on YouTube, and I encourage everyone to do the same. It may not be possible to have such an important philosophy expressed in a more succinct way. Thank you to Coach Lawson and to the person who thought to record and later to share her speech with everyone. I'm always going to root for you.
