Dan Pfeiffer: "In several polls recently, Trump's approval rating on the handling of immigration is underwater (maybe because he is deporting people to foreign gulags without evidence or hearings). It is another reason why Democrats should be making a full-throated case against Trump's authoritarian power grabs on immigration and other issues.

Does anyone have a degree in or similar If so, three questions!
1) What career did you ultimately end up in
2) Did you need to continue past undergrad in order to get to that career
3) If you could redo college, would you get a bio degree again If not, what would you recommend for someone with a passion for science but a dislike of chemistry

Please advise.
Its that time of year when the big, black carpenter bees are out looking for suitable places to burrow into to make nests. Theres a reason theyre called carpenter bees. And theyre loud, buzzing around looking big, bad and ominous. But YSK, you dont have to worry. They are by nature docile, and very focused on their task at hand, so theyre gonna take their time and look at every nook and cranny. They may even buzz around your head momentarily, but dont be alarmed, theyre just checking you out and will soon fly away. Whatever you do, dont try to swat them away thats one of the few things that might make them aggressive.

Turn your pain into a tool, not a weapon
You should learn to be resourceful.
It saved me from being again today. If I wasn't well versed in how to protect myself, and use what is available to me, I would have been much worse off.
As sad as it is, the is absolutely brutal to you if you suddenly find yourself in a crisis.
You need to be ready, and know what options are available to you. If you don't and a sudden crisis happens, you'll suffer much more.
Especially with how the US is going now.

I was out in pretty direct sunlight for most of 8 hours yesterday. Wearing a hat with a brim plus sunscreen that wore off part way into the day means I have the weirdest little sunburn on my lower cheeks and chin. It doesn't hurt or feel weird, just a lil pink. I'm higher in melanin than most of my friends. If I get pink from that you will crispify. Always remember your sunblock and (unlike my dumbass) reapply regularly.

super random question but does anyone know if Billie razors are any good I've only ever used those cheap disposable ones(but they get used like every day for a month before they're thrown away). Honestly I'm tired of having to do ten passes to shave a small area, not even getting anywhere close to having a close shave, and having to deal with my skin being furious and everything hurting afterwards.
I've heard Billie razors are good, but honestly I know nothing about razors and which ones are good. I have really sensitive skin that hates when I shave, but I can't stand the feeling of it not being shaven. I'm broke as fuck so something around or less than $15 would be great. I'm not a fan of subscriptions so I planned on just getting a Billie one from Walmart and getting the extra blades when I need them.
I like that Billie isn't a giant company and is women owned, and they don't push into the stupid beauty standards and don't pressure you to shave if that's not your thing. But if there's a better or more affordable option that works well, I'd probably consider that instead.
thanks! :QueerCatTrans:
In the 1989-90 season, the Denver Children's Hospital released a set of Nuggets trading cards. On the front, each had the standard photo of a player. The backs were different, adorned with safety tips such as Bill Hanzlik's "Never put poison in your mouth. And if you see someone put poison in their mouth, you should get help right away." The set is one of many that were made during the 1970s, '80s and '90s, with messages about stranger danger, drugs, gangs and jaywalking. Defector's Dan McQuade took a closer look at some of the best examples, and talked to Hanzlik about his wise words. "I was a master of the obvious," Hanzlik says. "But it is good advice!"
Of interest for some.
