So Cam has been offered an opportunity to work overtime at least a 12 times in 6 months and has only done it twice. I could force him to do it but that just makes people mad.

Any or bros/broettes out there have any on getting yourself out there and getting contracted gigs I'm self taught in this field, but I've been pretty successful in the opportunities I've stumbled upon. Several ad campaigns for Mayo Clinic, full media experiences for the IDSA IDWeek escape room... But I don't know how to expand beyond my existing connections.

Suggestions on software to provide both ad blocking and other content filtering for an inline device I'm familiar with Pi-Hole for ad blocking (I do this today with a raspberry pi that's inside the router's network) but not with other options. The problem with our current setup is that the Pi-Hole only helps with my wireless network wired clients bypass it by connecting to the internet gateway directly (due to physical constraints).
Thinking of putting a dual-NIC device inline between my router and the internet, for whole-network ad blocking and other content/access control.
Probably a mini-PC running some Linux. Looking at Beelink and GMKtec as likely options.
