There is often something confusing about the link between diet and depression. That is how blurred the lines are in some of these studies. The only one that pops up for me regarding drinks with sweeteners is "Ultra processed foods." which is immediately a red flag for what I'm looking for because it's completely unrelated. Drinks and food are separate entities.
That said, I've been off sweeteners (Specifically Aspartame) for a long time. And honestly, I don't notice much difference minus less headaches.
So that just makes me wonder, what the fuck is up with these studies Why is this such a hard thing to study One bit of advice I got as a kid that sort of rings true for now, is you need to be the test subject of your own study, and the results are for you only. They weren't the exact words, but that's what was implied.
To an extent I agree. It's all about experimentation. Everyone reacts differently to different foods and drinks. Studies done well hint at it
Just thinking about some for younger people thinking about their in an uncertain future in an unstable world.
I realize a lot of what needs to be said about this will rankle some people, because younger generations will never enjoy what the Baby Boomer and Jones Generations were able to enjoy, but some hard-headed and hard-hearted choices need to be made now precisely because of what they enjoyed.
1. Education is of paramount important. "College" is a scam.

What My Friends Mean To Me Answer #37: My friends have taught me who to trust.
Ok, fellow nerds... what's the best 1Gb modem router out there right now For use in the UK.
I've always hankered for a Draytek Vigor, though currently have a 2010s-era TP-Link Archer VR600.
I'm looking for WiFi 6 and mesh capability, 1Gb Ethernet switch, multiple VLANs, ZERO app/cloud requirement, backup SIM option, and no phoning home (telemetry, privacy, etc).
I want to introduce the world to a new term. The stacked pancake dilemma.
Obviously hear me out on this. We live in a world that's almost progressing too quickly. Whether it's technology or society, something is bound to go wrong, and in a sense, it's all bound to fall down with it.
I think stacked pancakes accurately describes this. We have all these great things here that means we'll eat (consume) well. However, it takes another pancake or more for it to all fall over. Thus you can no longer have your pancake and eat it.
I think about cars as an example. I heard some close people in my life discuss cars and essentially shit on the advances that cars have made, and honestly it is rational in a sense. Cars that are primarily electric and have advanced technology, can go terribly wrong. You can get trapped in a car with electronically triggered doors. You could get electrocuted in a leakage (In or around). You could get technical difficulties.
Don't stack too high.

Dear Gardeners,
What is it about some beers that attracts slugs best, and why they ignore other beers
I poured a not-cheap beer for them and they had a party, worked great. Tried a cheap malt beer bought just for the slugs next, they didn't touch it.
Trying to find the balance between what attracts them, but isn't expensive.
My dahlias thank you.
Hey everyone, I need some help!
I need a sanity check if this outlet/switch is too far outside the metal box on our sink backsplash.
From what I could research you need a box extender for greater than 1/4" away from the wall.
The outlet lead is almost flush with the drywall and I'm concerned if there's a chance of electrical fire if there ever is any arcing.
A contractor is doing this, not me.
