For anyone with OCD who can't stand untidy tops and have no draw space/want easy access to things you'd use regularly, look no further than a makeup draw thingy.
Not sure what they're called exactly, but I've got two of them for carrying some basic essential bits on my desk and on my bedside table. These things are life savers. Only downside I suppose is they can have transparent draws, which I don't mind myself, I guess I'm middle of the spectrum with OCD. But I can see how it would be an annoyance. Still, they help massively. Even for us gamers.
So many themes come together here: self publishing, personal brands, curation, the disruption of traditional publishing. I could keep doing.

Hi, all.
I realize this is a far cry from my usual posts, but I'm desperately trying to find work, as I know are so many others.
I don't have a wide range of interests, but anything that will make my CV more interesting is a plus, so I'm on the hunt for a potential list of free and accredited online courses.
If anyone knows where I can find something like this, please please let me know. I'll do anything to fill my time if it feels within reach of my current skillset, and hopefully that skillset can slowly expand as a result.
Anything helps. Thank you in advance.
to any middle school kids picking deciding on foreign languages to learn (for maximum usefulness of the language in day to day situations): SPANISH OR CHINESE!!!
(Unless you want to join the US State Department or a 3-letter US agency, then of course Russian becomes an option. But Chinese is also very desirable there, too).
Advice for those who dislike sports:
Saying sportsball sarcastically has never been funny nobody has ever laughed at it and it makes you look like an elitist prick.

How do people share patterns these days Ive worked up a really nice minimal-waste packable grocery bag pattern and it feels like a nice thing to share, but Im terribly out of touch on how this happens. Im old enough that I used to write things up on my blog but then Google killed Reader (*pours one out*) and now I just dont know.
Doc says my cholesterol is high. Someone suggested Metamucil. Has anyone had experience with this situation I ordered a can from Amazon just now but I won't know the results for six months or so. (I'm also doing other things, too. Red rice, for one.) Thanks for any tips.
Random thought: Can you reason with the unreasonable by stooping to their low Again relating to the discourse around recent politics. You could accuse them of eating humans Make them realize how illogical the claim is.
And maybe bring religion into it somewhere.
Point is, if we want to change the blind leading to the blind, I think you need to walk among them and realize how illogical their claims are. And if anything, hearing out their arguments is probably one of the most logical things you can do, since you have both sides in mind.

Ive been thinking of getting a FitBit. I am curious about the statistics. I dont want phone notifications or anything fancy like that. However, I dont think I could have something around my wrist at night. Is it still worth it to get if I dont use it to track sleep (which I already know isnt great) Or is there a Fitbit out there that feels more like cloth, breathable, non-constrictive, etc

Fellow ,

I've just started a new & am curious to know if its best to use 1 track for everything or separate tracks for each item For example, I'd have:
*Intro
*host (me)
*Guest
*Outro
This is how I had it before, but wouldn't let me edit what I needed to. Items kept playing over each other.
Any & all advice is greatly appreciated.
Reasonable people will listen and likely say reasonable things.
Unreasonable people will say unreasonable things and like won't listen.
This is a huge modern day paradox. YouTube for some reason thought it would be smart to recommend me a video about V-gan Booty's ban from Australia... well, the title itself is a strawman so that tells me all I need to know about the video. "That Vegan Teacher's daughter banned from Australia."
Right... but she isn't Unless she was somehow adopted
Either way, this just reminds me of all the discourse around That Vegan Teacher and V-gan Booty getting all this traction, leading to a bunch of unreasonable people strawmanning and creating red herrings, choosing that as demonstrable evidence as opposed to REAL DEMONSTRABLE EVIDENCE. And believe it or not, I'm unbiased. I don't side until something is demonstrably proven. Hitchen's Razor after all.
But I am fed up of this. Then people have the audacity to ask why I'm depressed.
